Its Fly Time

Its Mid May Here in the Adirondacks and its been a slow start with the late cold temps and all the rain we have had. We recently were on the Ausable River in Keene NY and we were using an Olive color scud with little sucsess while waiting for the hatches to start and the weather to warm up. We had snow showers still that day but it was still a great day. The day before we fished in the rain in a small creek call Putnam Creek in Crown Point NY and hook a gerogeous Brown he was around 22" had the hook jaw he was laying under a bridge and we were fishing a rainbow color phebe on our spinning rod that was a great day. Share your stories here and what flys your using or suggest or if your using spinners.
